KEYSTONE CLUB
Keystone Clubs are chartered small group leadership leadership development clubs for young teens. Teens choose their own activities and plan and implement community service projects. Funded by the Taco Bell Foundation
YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SKILLS PROGRAM
The Youth Employment Skills (Y.E.S.) Program is an on-base volunteer program for high school students and is offered at selected Air Force bases. This program offers high school students an opportunity to learn valuable work skills, "bank" up to $1000 credits toward their post-secondary education/training, and have a positive impact on their base community.
PRESIDENTIAL VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD
Recognizing and honoring volunteers sets a standard for service to others. It encourages a sustained commitment to civic participation and inspires others to make volunteering a central part of their lives. The President's Volunteer Service Award recognizes individuals, families, and groups that have achieved a certain standard – measured by the number of hours served over a 12-month period or cumulative hours earned over the course of a lifetime.
YOUTH OF THE YEAR
Sponsored by the Reader's Digest Foundation, the National Youth of the Year Program is designed to promote and recognize service to Club and community, academic performance and contributions to family and spiritual life.
CAREERLAUNCH
CareerLaunchTM is a career exploration and mentoring program for teens ages 13-18. This program allows teens to take an interest survey, explore careers, identify training or college requirements, seek out financial aid and play skills-building games. There's also an easy-to-use Career Exploration Quick Reference Guide with a broad range of career planning and job skills activities. Funded by Gap Foundation
MONEY MATTERS: MAKE IT COUNT
Created with the Charles Schwab Foundation, this financial literacy program was designed specifically to help teens (ages 13 to18) expand their knowledge of money management and learn the skills that lead to financial independence and well-being.
TRAINING RESPONSIBLE ADOLESCENTS IN LEADERSHIP
Training Responsible Adolescence In Leadership (T.R.A.I.L.) provides adventure-based, recreation activities and experiences. Teens learn about equipment selection and care, safety and risk management, outdoor skills, and an appreciation for our natural resources. |
