CODE OF CONDUCT

To ensure that the Youth Program is a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants, it is necessary to establish and enforce standards of behavior. When a Youth Program member or their guest enters the facility, he/she must accept certain responsibilities:

I will be courteous and respectful towards others, including, staff members, volunteers and other participants.

I will conduct myself in a professional manner at all times.

I will follow the guidance of the Youth Program Staff and volunteers.

I will not enter the office or kitchen area without permission and unless a staff member is present.

I will dress appropriately at all times and not wear clothing that: is revealing, has vulgar language or image, has gang related colors or symbols, features alcohol and tobacco products or depicts sex.

I will wear a full T-Shirt and shoes at all times. 

I will not demonstrate any personal display of affection.

I will not run, horseplay, or throw any objects on the Youth Program premises.

I will not use any roller blades, roller skates, or skateboards on the Youth Program premises.

I will not operate any portable radios, cassette or Compact Disc (CD) players unless a staff member authorizes it. 

I understand that my CD will be confiscated if played loudly and has lyrics with vulgar language or racial slurs.  I understand that my parents will be notified and that my parents have to pick up the confiscated CD.

I will watch videos/DVD’s that are appropriate to me according to the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB).

I will not loiter in, on or around the Youth Program after hours.

I understand that all phone calls made on a Youth Program phone must be to my parent(s).  All other personal calls will be made on the phone located in the hallway.

I understand that I will be held financially responsible for damages I caused or contributed to the property of the Youth Program.

I will not punch, kick, poke or hit/fight anyone on the Youth Program premises.

I understand that if I am in a fight, my parent(s) and/or Security Forces will be notified immediately.

I will not use alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs at anytime. 

I understand that if I am suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other stimulants, I will not be permitted on the Youth Program premises and will be suspended.  My parents and/or Security Forces will be notified immediately.

I will not bring weapons or instruments that will cause harm to others. 

I understand that if I am found with such objects I will not be permitted on the Youth Program premises and will be suspended.  My parent(s) and/or Security Forces will be notified immediately.

I will not blurt out any racial slurs, vulgar languages or abusive languages.   I understand that such language will not be tolerated and that I will leave the Youth Program premises and be  suspended from the Youth Program.

I understand that I may sponsor one guest to the Youth Program and my guest will be charged a $1.00 fee per day and that I must be present when my guest is utilizing the Youth Program facility.

I understand that if I am to check-out a Youth Program property, I will provide the staff with my Membership Card. 

I understand that if I don’t return the property, my Membership Card will be suspended for three days.  I understand that I will be held financially responsible for the lost property during my check-out.

I understand that my time will be forfeited due to failure to abide to the Code of Conduct and am required to leave the Youth Program premises.

Membership Card may be restricted or suspended for a period of three operating days and/or the individual(s) must do Community Service deemed by the Youth Program Staff for the violation of the Code of Conduct, policy or rules.  The length of the discipline will be determined by: 1). The seriousness of the offense, 2). The frequency of violations, and 3). The attitude of the member towards the rules as determined by the Youth Program Staff.

The staff will document all violations and notify the parent if a member is suspended.
The Mission Support Group Commander can temporarily or permanently revoke all privileges according to regulation.
