We know your pet is a part of your family. That's why we treat your pet like they're one of our own... with love, kindness and gentleness.

All dogs and cats quartered on Beale must be registered within five working days of assignment to government quarters and wear a rabies tag.

Owners should have an identification tag with name and address placed on the collar. Owners must maintain current rabies vaccination status of their dogs, cats and horses.

The Base veterinarian will provide information about rabies immunizations and other health care services for animals. Registration and immunizations are obtained at the Base Veterinary Clinic. People living off base should check county or city laws for pet requirements.

Patrons of Beale's Veterinary Services must be enrolled in the DEERS program and must be entitled to full services at the medical clinic.

Our clinic focuses on preventative medicine, but we are not able to provide emergency care, extended treatment, or walk-in services. If your pet needs care outside of our office hours, please see the list of emergency facilities below:

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY! No more long waiting lists! The vet clinic is now open to all military and retiree pets to perform spays, neuters, and dental cleanings with ***NEW month-to-month scheduling!*** Please call the vet clinic at (530)634-2104 on the FIRST WORKING DAY of each month between 7:00am and 9:00am, and LEAVE US A MESSAGE requesting a dental cleaning or surgery with your name and a phone number we can reach you that day. We will call you back that day in the order we get your call, and let you know which day that month we will be doing the procedure you want for your pet. If that date works for you, your pet will then be on our schedule! If our schedule does not work for you in a particular month, if we cannot reach you, or if our schedule has filled up for that month, you can try again the following month!

Currently, Tuesdays are the Veterinary Clinic's day for sick calls. If your pet is ill, please call for an appointment. If you need a health certificate or a vaccine, we have limited appointments available the rest of the week. For more information call: 634-2104
