Get ready for what may be our fiercest release yet. Right from Track Two, the hammer goes down and the intensity does not back off. Watch out for exciting new tempos and some killer supersets. Quick transitions and the shortest recoveries in the history of BODYPUMP™ mean your muscles are working from start to finish.
The massive energy and drive of This Is Who I Am sets the pace upfront. The new tempo challenges the legs, driving the heart rate up. We Weren’t Born To Follow and we prove it in Track Three as the classic Rock sound grounds the workout into the bench, bringing great muscle isolation to the chest.
Track Six delivers a Boom Boom Pow to the biceps. This was a massive hit for the Black Eyed Peas originally – this one breaks the mold and you’re gonna love it! We’re getting Dangerous in Track Seven with some Static Lunges followed straight up by some Dynamic Backward-Stepping Lunges for explosive glute training.
Track Nine brings the introduction of an exciting new move. The cool R&B Pop sound of this cruisy number creates massive contrast from the Shoulders Track. Use a conversational voice to coach and connect. Then, just in case you thought it was time to relax, there are Walking Hovers to challenge even the strongest abdominals.

BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!
BODYPUMP™ is the fastest way to shape up and lose body fat. It’s a toning and conditioning class with weights and is for just about everybody who wants to add strength training into their aerobic workout. The simplicity of the class makes BODYPUMP™ a great starting point to develop strength and confidence. Hot sounds and compelling choreography keep you going through each 45-minute or one-hour workout. You’ll use a step platform, a bar and a set of weights.
If you’re new to weights-resistance exercise or you’re out of shape, you should start with light weights. After a few classes you’ll recognise the correct weight for you. If you’re unsure, ask your instructor.

The overall objective of a BODYPUMP™ class is to improve strength and endurance in the major muscle groups and, in doing so, burn calories.
Each of the tracks has a specific training objective and is purposely sequenced for maximum effect.
The standard length of each class is 10 tracks and 60 minutes. An optional 45-minute, eight-track format is also available, omitting the triceps and biceps tracks.

If you haven’t heard, 1500 on Thursdays at the Harris Fitness Center is the place to be for a great, fun cardio work-out! Please join us as we plunge into a fitness routine that will have you rocking to the beat! Military folks – have you completed your group PT session for the week? Fear no more! It counts as group PT! We rotate between Rock and Roll, Country, Latin, Swing, and Hip Hop. [FLYER]

Equipment Orientation
With the combined efforts of the Health and Wellness Center (HAWC), held the last Wednesday of each month at 1300. You will be given a brief 30-45 minute run through of all Strive and Hammer Strength Equipment along with which machine pertains to which muscle group. Sign-up’s are on the front lobby computer. Come join us and let us help give you a jump start into the world of weight training!
