Enjoy the ease of the new express quad lift on Lookout Mountain, snowmaking systems, improved trails, increased lift capacity, and widening of the ski boundaries, increasing the resort's total skiable acreage to a total of 2,904 acres! Get ready for an exciting snowmobile adventure in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Tours has been expertly guiding tours since 1985 and is North Lake Tahoe's premier snowmobiling operation. The exciting tour will last 2 hours and is designed for all ability levels and travels through the pristine National Forest offering spectacular views of the entire lake. After the ride we will stop in old town Truckee to warm up and fill our stomachs before heading home. Get out of the winter weather and come with us to the largest indoor rock climbing gym in California. The rock climbing gym tailors to all ages and abilities so you can bring the whole family. Their trained staff will instruct us on safe climbing then we will hit the walls like spider-man. After we spend two hours of rock climbing we will stop for pizza and refreshments and end the day on a good slice! This trip includes all admission fees for the gym and pizza. 634-2054

Join OAC as we hike the sixth highest waterfall in the U.S. which is right in Beale’s backyard. This intermediate hike will be spectacular as you watch water plunge 640 feet over a sheer granite cliff to the canyon floor in its rush to meet the Middle Fork of the Feather River and Lake Oroville. You will need to pack a lunch, bring water (a hydration pack is great!) and your own personal items for the 7-mile round trip hike. Don’t forget your camera! 634-2054

Get on board the OAC ski shuttle as we take you to Squaw Valley ski resort. Active duty personnel with a valid ID ski for free, kids 12 and under are only ten dollars, or you can purchase your discounted lift tickets at the OAC. Sit back and relax after a long day of skiing or boarding--you can even take a power nap on the way home. Even if you’re not a skier, Squaw Valley offers a day full of opportunities. Visit the Villages great selection of shops and restaurants, ice skate, ride the gondola or checkout the Olympic History Museum. Don’t forget to pick-up your discounted ski and snowboard rentals at OAC—kids rent for ½ price! OAC beats ANY price on the hill, so there’s no need to wait in long rental lines at the resort! 634-2054

OAC’s resident snowboarder and bike mechanic, Tyler Drace, will come along on two trips a month to teach patrons how to snowboard. Tyler has been shredding the powder for six years and will create a friendly, fun and safe environment to learn how to snowboard. The class will be for 2 hours and will teach everything you need to know to progress. From beginner riders who know nothing to experienced riders who want to learn more, it’s all available. This trip isn’t your run-of –the-mill ski shuttle. Squaw Valley is hosting their Peaks and Lagoons Spring Party along with Snowbomb’s Sick and Twisted Freestyle Tour on the same day. The party is an awesome way to enjoy the numerous amenities Squaw Valley has to offer and get some epic spring skiing or boarding in all at the same time!  Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit, as Squaw’s mountain-top pool and 25’ diameter spa will be open for this poolside party!  Relax and take in the breathtaking mountain-top views on the expansive decks. You can even grab a drink from their umbrella bar while enjoying the poolside DJ as he turns out some great hip hop tunes for some added entertainment and maybe a bit of dancing! Plus, don’t forget to check out the Snowbomb Freestyle tour where skiers and snowboarders alike will showcase their talent and impress the Lake Tahoe area with their insane stunts and tricks. Get your kids out of the house to release some of that pent up spring break energy and swing by the Outdoor Adventure Center as it is transformed into Kiddie Land for a few fun filled hours!  OAC will set their inflatable bounce houses, climbing wall and slide (weather permitting) for the kid’s enjoyment. Plus, OAC will break out their new 12’ inflatable movie screen which will be playing movies throughout the day! Fun for all ages—OAC will even designate a bounce house for children 3 and under! Bring a sack lunch or purchase lunch at the event where OAC will be grilling up hot dogs and the works.  FREE popcorn for all! This exciting 3-hour trip aboard a chartered boat will depart from the Wharf at 1:30 pm and will take you out to the Monterey Bay where you have the opportunity to view Gray Whales, Dolphins and Killer Whales as they migrate to central California waters each year. Monterey Bay is a prime feeding location for these whales and the best place in the nation to observe a variety of marine mammals and seabirds. On average, 3-7 species of whales/dolphins are sighted per trip. Your trip will be led by marine biologists who fully narrate and answer questions on each trip. After the trip you will have time to explore the Monterey Wharf where you can shop for souvenirs and grab a bite to eat before the ride home.  Please dress in layers and we suggest bringing a motion sickness preventative. 634-2054
