COMMUNITY CENTER CHAOS
The Community Center is offering a monthly multi game tournament. The tournament will consist of double elimination for air hockey, table tennis, pool, and shuffle board. Points will be awarded for the first 4 places of each game and a point for participation. There is no entry fee for this monthly tournament.
1st Week (Air Hockey)
- Signup deadline is 1500 on the previous Friday
- Community Center will make bracket with name and duty phone
- Community Center will notify each pair that needs to play that day and give each person the other player's name and duty phone to coordinate a mutually agreed playing time of
anytime the Community Center is open that day. If a player is unable to be contacted or play that day the other player needs to contact the Community Center staff who will attempt to contact the other player and or verify that there is a forfeit.
- Games must be played that day to continue the tournament bracket
- Games will be self refereed and the Community Center notified of the winner
- Points will be awarded at (5) for 1st place, (4) for 2nd place, (3) for 3rd place, (2) for 4th place, and (1) for participation.
- Match will consist of best 2 out of 3 games to eleven (Coin flip to determine first serve)
2nd Week (Table Tennis)
- Same rules apply
- Match will consist of best 2 out of 3 games to 21 (volley to determine serve then alternate serve after every 5 points and standard point serves)
3rd Week (Pool)
- Same rules apply
- 1 game of standard 8 ball (break determined by hitting the cue ball the closest back to the rear bumper)
4th Week (Shuffle Board)
- Same rules apply
- 1 game to 21 (coin flip to determine who goes first)
At the end the total points will be totaled for all 4 tournaments and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
